Ugandan Vice President Jessica Alupo visited the China-Uganda Agricultural Cooperation Industrial Park in Luwero District, Uganda, July 23, 2026. The park stands as a significant achievement in Uganda's push for agricultural industrialization with support from China and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
During this tour of the park, Vice President Alupo visited an layer poultry farm equipped with a full suite of intelligent systems provided by Farmrob. The farm is now fully operational, with the entire system ranging from automated feeding, egg collection and manure removal, to environmental temperature control, all independently developed by Farmrob. The system not only significantly reduces labor costs but also achieves regionally leading performance in management efficiency and flock survival rates. Farmrob's equipment solutions, specifically designed to suit local conditions, have demonstrated strong precision and reliability in real-world operation, providing solid support for the farm's efficient performance.
The commissioning of this project is playing an positive role in promoting the value addition of local agricultural products in Uganda, reducing dependence on imported egg products, and creating employment opportunities, thereby providing important industrial support for Uganda's agricultural transformation.
